Rhodium Treatment

The rhodium is the surface treatment, through electrolysis, carried out by means of a salt of rhodium.

The treatment of rhodium is used to make white gold gloss, silver and fashion accessories.

The rhodium can also be used on silver objects to increase the shine and to abrasion and oxidation resistance.

Once washed should be degreased with a degreasing agent based on soda, passed in running water and then neutralized in water and sulfuric acid (70% water acido30%). With rhodium, gold, silver and non-noble metals are perfectly covered by a thin layer of rhodium (metal of the platinum group) by means of a galvanic bath.
